How to reach the Congress venue
The Congress venue is located next to St. Peter’s Basilica, a short walk from the city centre where many hotels are to be found. It can be reached by courtesy buses departing from pick-up points on the underground (line “A”, OTTAVIANO stop).
As there is no private parking place in the Congress area, the use of a private car is strongly discouraged.
Language
The official languages will be English and Italian.
Visa Requirements
For entry into Italy, an ID card is sufficient for citizens of Switzerland and EC Member Countries. A valid passport is required for citizens of other countries.
A VISA may be required for some countries; participants requiring an entry-VISA to Italy may request the assistance of the Organizing Secretariat.
For specific information, please contact the nearest Italian embassy at least six weeks prior to your departure for Italy.
Letter of Invitation
Individuals requiring an official letter of invitation in order to attend the Congress may write to the Organizing Secretariat. This invitation is intended to help potential delegates to obtain a visa and will not imply any obligation on the part of the Organizer KEY CONGRESS & COMMUNICATION to provide any financial support.
Attendance Certificates
Attendance certificates will be delivered on request to all registered participants at the end of the meeting.
Meals
Meals are not included in the registration fee. Many dining facilities are available in and around the Congress area.
Packed lunches can be purchased by and no later than 10.00 hrs. on Friday 7th and Saturday 8th, 2008, at the cost of € 20.00 per day (10% VAT included).
Weather
November weather in Rome is generally mild. The temperature rises during the day to an average of 20° C.
Currency
The official currency in Italy is the Euro.
Credit cards
Major credit cards are accepted by hotels, shops and restaurants.
Electricity
Voltage in Italy is mostly 220 volts - 50 Hz. Foreign appliances could require an adapter.
Shopping
Shops are open from 9.30 to 13.00 o’clock and from 15.30 hrs. to 19.30 o’clock.
